Your privacy is important to us. These terms explain what personal data we collect as part of the Agate waitlist, how we use it, and what your rights are.

Currently, we offer a waitlist and The Agate Letter newsletter; the Agate app itself is still in development. When the app becomes publicly available, we will update these terms accordingly and notify you of any changes.

What personal data do we collect?

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• Your first name
• Your email address

We do not currently collect health data, cycle data, mood data, or any other sensitive personal data as part of the waitlist.

What is the legal basis for processing?

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent. You give consent when you complete the waitlist form and confirm your email address.

How do we use your data?

We use your name and email address to:

• send you The Agate Letter newsletter,
• notify you about the development and launch of the Agate app,
• share content related to cycle-aware living, wellbeing, and living in rhythm.

We do not sell your data to third parties, nor do we share it with advertising partners.

Who processes your data?

Your data is stored and processed through the following authorised processors:

• MailerLite (Lithuania, European Union) — the newsletter platform through which we store your contact details and send the newsletter.
• Veebimajutus.ee (Estonia, European Union) — the web hosting service provider.

All data is processed within the European Union / European Economic Area.

Data retention and security

We retain your data for as long as:

• you remain on the waitlist and wish to continue receiving the newsletter, or
• until you decide to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

You can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of every email. After that, we will remove your data from the system within a reasonable period.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.

Sharing data with third parties

We do not share your data for commercial purposes. We may only pass on your data to:

• the authorised processors listed above, who help me send the newsletter and host the website,
• law enforcement or government authorities, if directly required by law.

Cookies

This website does not currently use tracking or analytics cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update these terms and ask for your consent in advance.

Your rights

The General Data Protection Regulation gives you the following rights. At any time, you have the right to:

• ask what data we process about you,
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data,
• delete your data (the right to be forgotten),
• restrict the processing of your data,
• receive a copy of your data in a portable format,
• withdraw your consent at any time,
• lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee) if you believe your rights have been violated.
